FIND ARCHAEOLOGICAL RUINS IN A DESERT

The job of an archaeologist is specifically inquiry and exploration of ancient sites that were civilizations that marked an important fact, where remains are looking whether these materials, humans or animals; to respond to alleged hypothesis that researchers are raised. These can be in different spaces according to geographical location, in this case we will talk about a search for aqueologicos remains in the desert.

The challenge of an archaeological inquiry is extreme with icy winds, freezing temperatures and no sign of life. Example of Swiss archaeological expedition crosses the dunes of Chinese Takla Makan Desert, one of the most extensive and inhospitable world, aboard special vehicles. Their mission: to locate and unearth the remains of cities with more than 1,600 years old, that flourished thanks to the trade of the Silk Road.

First we have to overcome the huge pile of sand. The clutch tanker smell of burning rubber, chassis wails, about to fall to pieces. Only few meters to the highest crest of a dune. yellowish powder and an infernal noise coming through holes in the floor of the cabin. Then silence. Again, Lao Li Wei Feng and mechanical creep under the truck. What they find is sleazy: diesel conduit has ruptured, and will have to solder. Sure you get, they have already demonstrated their talent for improvisation. These repairs will delay us. Four hours later, we road; but we are discouraged. We took a five-day delay: we have traveled 96 kilometers of desert; but because rodeos only 42 have advanced towards our goal, the region around deposits Haitou, seat of the governor of the Silk Road. So we decided to prolong the expedition two weeks.
In conclusion, an archaeological expedition is hard work that requires patience and relevant to an investigation in depth concentration to get to know coming to study societies over time, they are able to find fossils and establish lost Slavonians of civilizations prehistory, analyzing a fossil, classify and determine its age.
